Filing your GST return in India
It is a simple process to file your returns. Online process of filing is very user-friendly. All the businesses need to follow these steps to file your GST return.
Step I: Use your 15-digit GST identification number issued to you to log in to the Government GST portal.
Step II: Using the invoice reference number issued by the portal upload your invoices.
Step III: Submit form GSTR-1 with all relevant details.
Step IV: Check and edit the generated GSTR-2 apart from the credit &debit notes. Remember to mention the inward supply of taxable goods and services.
Note: It is vital to file before the deadline to avoid penalty.
